Dalton Celebrates the Grand Opening of King Animal Hospital- A Revolutionary Achievement in Veterinary Healthcare

On August 13th, The Dalton Company attended the grand opening of King Animal Hospital in King City, ON alongside notable dignitaries and media. Attendees watched as the Hospital Co-Founders, Rob and Danielle Scheinberg, Premier Doug Ford, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan and Mayor of King City, Steve Pellegrini performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony.


The Hospital will revolutionize veterinary healthcare in Canada providing small animals and equine patients 24/7 emergency and critical care, surgery and extensive rehabilitation services including hydrotherapy, laser therapy and a hyperbaric oxygen chamber.



Dalton's construction of the new, $33 million, 60,000 sq. ft. Hospital began in 2021 and required intensive collaboration between the Project Manager, PRISM Partners Inc., consultants and over 150 highly-skilled subcontractors and specialty vendors.

Dalton coordinated the integration of clinical hospital components including state-of-the-art technology with the unique specialty finishes from the Design Team. The space was carefully designed to create a bespoke aesthetic featuring natural elements of wood and stone, warm accent lighting, and diverse textures.
