This week Church Members, the Project Team and Town of Aurora gathered on-site at 15186 Yonge Street, the corner of Yonge & Tyler St., in Downtown Aurora, to celebrate the construction progress of the new Aurora United Church.
Church Representatives including Brian North, The Reverends Andrew Comar and Lorraine Newton-Comar, Committee and Council Members, the Town of Aurora and Mayor Tom Mrakas, the Architect, Murphy Partners, Consultants and the Dalton Team met in the main sanctuary to begin the festivities.
After touring all four levels of the Church, including the rooftop patio, we made our way to the lower-level boardroom to enjoy hot beverages and treats. With the interior infrastructure and walls complete, our team is looking forward to the roof installation and interior drywalling this Winter.
